Our mugs are hand-painted enamel, painted one by one by artisans in the social reintegration program in San Ramón, Alajuela. It's the same sturdy enamelware used on coffee farms and camping trips, but with original designs you won't find in a generic souvenir shop. The enamel coating resists chips better than plain ceramic, so it travels well too.
They're among the most affordable products in the collection, perfect as a Costa Rican souvenir to bring back several at once, or as a simple handmade gift to pair with a wooden coffee dripper. They hold up well to daily use, and if you need a larger quantity with a specific design for an event, we coordinate a custom order with a production time of about 3 weeks.
