A hand-carved wooden mirror is one of our workshop's most requested pieces: the frame is carved by hand from Costa Rican cedar, with motifs ranging from simple geometric lines to designs inspired by the country's wildlife and plants. Every mirror is made by an artisan in the social reintegration program in San Ramón, Alajuela, so the wood's natural variation makes each piece one of a kind.
They make a Costa Rican handmade gift that works equally well decorating an entryway, hallway or living room, or as a Costa Rican souvenir that travels well in a suitcase or by mail. If you need a specific size or finish for a particular space, we take custom orders with a production time of about 3 weeks.
